There’s an active and powerful force that moves in and through us every day; since we live and breathe, we’re part of the original life force called energy.
We can awaken this energy to help our bodies heal and create positive change. One way we can do this is through Reiki.
Reiki is the non-physical form of life giving energy that begins the moment we’re conceived. It’s a Japanese word that means universal life force. www.purereikihealing.com
When we stub our toe or have a headache and place our hands in the area for relief we’re using Reiki; a hands on form of healing that comes naturally, and gives us the potential to:
- Unlock our ability to heal ourselves and those around us.
- Send and channel energy where it’s needed
- Open our energy centers (chakras)
- Bring body and mind into balance
Seven Energy Centers (Chakras)
Energy centers have a direct connection to our body, mind and spirit. They contribute to how safe we feel in the world, and the confidence we have to manifest our goals.
The first three chakras begin at the base of the spine and work up to the stomach area. There’re referred to as the root, sacral and power centers. They help us experience:
- Survival and connection to the physical world
- Sexual feelings
- Confidence in manifesting goals
- Emotions, like boredom, excitement, anger and fear, etc.
A Place of Balance:
The fourth chakra is our heart center located in the middle of the chest; it creates balance between earthly and spiritual awareness. It’s where self-love and worth are enabled along with trust, forgiveness and compassion.
The fifth chakra is located in the throat and it’s connected to our physical voice. It allows us speak our truth and understand verbal and non-verbal communication.
At a deeper level it works with our main intuitive source like knowing what someone is thinking, or that we’ll receive a phone call.
A Deeper Awareness:
The sixth chakra is called the third eye located in the center of the forehead. It gives us the potential to see beyond time and space. It can provide us with a greater perspective on abstract concepts and insights if it’s well developed (Intuition Magic, Linda Keen.)
The seventh chakra is located at the top of the head. It’s called the crown, and is associated with the spiritual wisdom and knowledge we gain as living beings. It connects the spirit and physical body.
Energy is an amazing power we’re all born with, it remains in constant motion. We can Learn how to work with it and activate our ability to give our body what it needs to heal and repair.
